radio paradise ftw

For fans of those rather pointless days spent inexpertly vivisecting Yeats in English class, and for whom American Pie isn't just a series of ever-worsening teen-mojo-flicks, here's a page that takes liberal interpretation to a whole new level. wind and thistles

We may be like down on a thistle, but to fly we must ride the wind; for only in the pathless skies will we find what we seek. now, testing

Here's a pretty picture. It should appear on the top left. It's some peak near Badrinath, which is a part of Uttarakhand and part of the Himalayas as well. It was taken with a Sony \alpha camera. Wait, how do I write \alpha? Grr.

Bring on the Enquisition

The right way to start a Google blog is to search for a null string in your Google toolbar and go to `Blogs' in the `more' section on the top of the page... wait, that's not it. Also, repeatedly trying this does not ensure success.

There's work and play and there's metawork. So, instead of reading John Baez on classical mechanics, I'm halfway through Knuth on math writing. En route I discovered what a participle is and why it's okay to split it and that enquire and inquire are only mildly different, thanks to a wonderful site called chompchomp.com .
